Privacy Policy
162-0 · Effective June 2025
162-0 ("we", "our", or "the game") is a free fan-made baseball fantasy draft game. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
Account data: When you sign in via Clerk (our authentication provider), we receive your unique user ID and email address. We use your email only to link your account — it is never displayed publicly.
Username: You choose a public display name during onboarding. This username is shown on the leaderboard and is visible to all players.
Game data: Each time you complete a game, we store your simulated season record (wins and losses), your overall score, and the date played. This data powers the leaderboard, career stats, and achievement system.
Career statistics: We track cumulative stats per account: total games played, best record achieved, current daily streak, and longest streak ever.
Daily challenge completions: We record which days you completed the daily challenge to enforce one entry per day and maintain your streak.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect passwords (handled entirely by Clerk), payment information, location data, device identifiers, browsing history, or any information beyond what is described above. We do not run advertising trackers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Display your scores and username on the public leaderboard (daily, weekly, monthly, all-time)
- Track your career stats and unlock achievements
- Enforce daily challenge limits (one submission per day per account)
- Maintain and calculate your daily streak
- Associate your game history with your account across sessions and devices
4. Public Information
Your username and game scores (wins, losses, score, date) are stored in our database and displayed publicly on the leaderboard. Do not use your real name or any identifying information as your username if you prefer to remain anonymous.
5. Local Storage
We store certain data in your browser's local storage to improve your experience. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us:
- Theme preference — your selected color theme
- Game state — your in-progress draft so you can resume it
- Daily challenge state — local tracking of today's challenge
- How-to-play seen flag — so we don't show the intro modal every visit
6. Third-Party Services
Clerk (clerk.com): Handles all authentication. Clerk processes your email and credentials according to their own privacy policy. We only receive your user ID and email from Clerk. See clerk.com/privacy.
Replit: This application is hosted on Replit's infrastructure. Our database and server run on Replit's platform. See replit.com/site/privacy.
7. Data Retention
Your account data and game history are retained as long as your account exists. Leaderboard scores are retained indefinitely to preserve the all-time rankings. If you delete your Clerk account, your game data in our database will be orphaned (no longer associated with a login) but may persist in aggregate leaderboard records.
8. Children's Privacy
162-0 is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
You can delete your Clerk account at any time via your account settings, which will revoke access to your 162-0 profile. To request deletion of your stored game data and leaderboard entries, contact us (see below). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) — we will honor reasonable requests.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
